Module 2: Diagnosing Stroke Syndromes and Mimics

The timely recognition and treatment of stroke is complicated by the fact that there are multiple conditions that mimic acute ischemic stroke. This is a review of specific stroke syndromes and those conditions that mimic stroke. It will also cover the major etiologies that identify a stroke. Included is a review of the concept of neuroplasticity and recovery.
