This program combines three of our most popular nursing experiences offered at Johns Hopkins. The two weeks of intensive learning about our best nursing practices and leadership skills are action-packed, highly interactive, and share the most up-to-date content for nursing leaders today. These weeks are followed by customized observerships ranging from one to four weeks, during which you will see Johns Hopkins leaders and/or clinicians in action. • October 6-9:  Inside Hopkins Nursing - Best Practices

  • Our unique Nurse Visitor Week program provides four days of detailed presentations for individuals and groups who want to learn more about the best practices of Johns Hopkins Nursing. It also provides the participants the opportunity to visit/tour our new clinical building and simulation center. Click here for details.

• October 13-16:  Nursing Leadership Academy

  • ​In this 4-day intensive program, you'll explore best practices with management experts and learn practical strategies from experienced Johns Hopkins nursing leaders. You'll combine opportunities for self-assessment and self-reflection with highly interactive group sessions built around realistic and challenging work situations. You'll work closely with a peer group to identify and address the most critical issues in the lives of nursing leaders today. Click here for details.

• Beginning October 20: ​​Clinical and/or leader observerships for up to 4 weeks.

  • Choose from these specialites of The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
     

Take advantage of the 3-day weekend in between these two programs to sight-see, shop or travel.  The Johns Hopkins Hospital is centrally located to many destinations; Baltimore, Washington D.C, Philadelphia, New York City, Ocean City, just to name a few.

If you are unable to attend for this extended period of time, both      Inside Hopkins Nursing  and Nursing Leadership Academy are available as stand-alone programs.
