Jane Marks, RN, MS
Jane Marks has over 21 years of experience in geriatric nursing. She has served as the Associate Director to the Johns Hopkins Geriatric Education Center (GEC). She coordinates a continence program for older adults with an emphasis on behavioral intervention and follows a group of patients through the primary care outpatient setting at GEC. Her other responsibilities in this position include coordinating numerous geriatric programs for healthcare professionals throughout the state of Maryland and working closely with nursing and medical students during their rotation through GEC.
She is actively involved in the National Gerontological Nurses Association at the state and national level. In 2006, she received the award for outstanding advanced practice for gerontological nursing. Ms. Marks has served as a Nurse Planner for gerontological nursing programs for the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing since 2007.
