Navigating the Shift: Implementing the 2025 Johns Hopkins EBP Model into an Online RN-BSN Curriculum
This episode from our Leading EBP Webinar Series examines strategies for integrating the 2025 Johns Hopkins Evidence-Based Practice (JHEBP) Model into an online, asynchronous RN-BSN curriculum. Topics will include course design approaches, learning activities, and assessment strategies that support the development of foundational evidence-based practice competencies. Additional focus will include meaningful student interaction strategies and lessons learned.

- Discuss lessons learned and effective approaches to implementing the 2025 JHEBP Model while fostering meaningful faculty-student interaction.

In addition to her academic leadership role, Dr. Tinley practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in infectious diseases, bringing current clinical perspectives to nursing education. She holds the ACUE Effective Teaching Framework Certification and is a former commissioned officer in the United States Coast Guard.
Diana Pitcher has more than 35 years of experience as a nurse educator across RN, BSN, nurse anesthesia, and advanced practice nursing programs. She holds dual doctoral degrees (PhD and DNP) and the ACUE Effective Teaching Framework Certification, reflecting expertise in nursing science, advanced clinical practice, and evidence-based education. Dr. Pitcher practices as a Registered Nurse in a cardiovascular intensive care unit and as a Nurse Practitioner with an anesthesia group providing postoperative care. Her clinical and academic expertise informs her commitment to advancing evidence-based practice and preparing future nurses.
