ANCC Nurse Planner Education
This course is for nurses within the Johns Hopkins Health System only.
The purpose of this course is to present the Nurse Planner's responsibilities in providing continuing nursing professional development for American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) contact hours.
The Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing (IJHN) is credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide nursing continuing professional development.
The ANCC standards must be complied with to offer Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) under the IJHN accreditation. This course will cover those standards and requirements.
The course will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and is followed by a short posttest.

This course is for nurses serving as Nurse Planners within the Johns Hopkins Health System for the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing

- State what documentation is required
- State process to submit an application IJHN
- Relevant Financial Relationships: It is the policy of The Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing to require our continuing professional development program planning committee members and presenters to disclose all relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies. The IJHN has established policies to identify and mitigate relevant financial relationships. The program planning committee members and presenters report that they do not have relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies to disclose.
