  • Recognize that continuation of methotrexate in patients who are starting biologic therapy because of inadequate response to methotrexate may enhance efficacy.

  • Determine optimal therapy for patients who lose their response to biologics.

  • Discuss the impact of biologic treatment for moderate to severe psoriasis on cardiovascular risk.
