Learning Objectives

After participating in this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to: 
  • Describe the benefits of continuing methotrexate when starting anti-TNF therapy in a patient with psoriasis who is having inadequate improvement with methotrexate.
  • Identify alternative biologic agents to switch a patient to when the patient is unresponsive to the initial biologic prescribed.
  • Discuss the impact of currently available treatments on major cardiovascular events.
