Nurses and health care professionals involved in the care of patients with viral hepatitis.

Learning Objectives

After participating in this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to: 

  • Identify factors associated with treatment response in prior peginterferon/ribavirin nonresponders and previously untreated patients with hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.
  • Discuss new clinical trials findings relevant to the management of patients with HCV infection (with and without HIV coinfection).

  • Discuss new clinical trials findings relevant to the antiviral management of patients with HIV/HCV coinfection.
