Nurses and health care professionals involved in the care of patients with viral hepatitis.

Learning Objectives

After participating in this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to: 

  • Discuss new clinical trials findings relevant to the antiviral management of patients with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection.

  • Describe the histologic effects of long-term virologic suppression in patients with chronic HBV infection.

  • Discuss new clinical trial findings relevant to the antiviral management of patients with HIV/HBV coinfection.
