Music-Based Therapy for Neurodegenerative Disorders
Music Based Therapy for Neurodegenerative Disorders Scholar Series program enables the learner to identify the major types of available music and rhythm-based therapies, and become familiar with the types of neurological disorders that can benefit from music and rhythm-based interventions. Additionally, the learner should be able to discuss the potential mechanisms underlying the benefit of music and rhythm-based therapies in Parkinson disease, Alzheimer disease, and stroke.
