Endoscopy Nurse Clinical Immersion Program
This Clinical Immersion Program (CLIP) allows you to shadow members of the Johns Hopkins gastroenterology team. Our clinicians are among the nation's top experts in performing specialized diagnostic procedures for gastrointestinal disorders. You will spend time observing nurses, physicians, and research faculty who will share their depth of knowledge on proven innovative treatments and procedures. The immersion experience then continues as you spend time with our endoscopy nurses at the bedside. You will learn and observe what our GI team does every day. Your observation experience can be customized to meet your interests and time constraints. Visit for one day or stay for 3-4 weeks. Learn about basic and advanced endoscopic procedures, as well as specialized diagnostic procedures for GI disorders performed at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

The Endoscopy Nursing Clinical Immersion Program is intended for non-Johns Hopkins nurses who would like to learn/observe in our hospital. We welcome practicing nurses, nurse managers and administrators, nurse educators, and nurse researchers. Proficiency in the English language is necessary to gain the most from this experience.

Cancellation policy: 100% refund if cancellation is at least 2 weeks prior to event, 50% refund if cancellation is 1 week prior to event. No refund if cancellation is less than 1 week prior to event.
